Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights activist, author as well as a model and actress. She has been acclaimed for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. While working as a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. The award she received was her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw quickly became famous in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years MacGraw was ranked as the number one female box-office starter in the whole world. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw married three people.
