Pickler grew up in a difficult environment. When she was two the mother of her fled from an abusive relationship. Then, in 1995, she re-entered back to the world of Pickler, and took custody. It didn't go according to planned. Pickler, then 12, was remanded to her parents by court. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler needed to look after of her kids without parents. According to her, because she was not able to devote time to studying, she began learning how to cook and clean at an early time. Pickler was the cheerleader at middle school and her high school. North Stanly High School graduated in the year 2004. Pickler attempted to make a name for herself in the world of beauty contests.
