Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She's primarily an actress, but she's also an acrobat and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' She is, however, musician. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she's dabbled at when she was 9 years old. As she grew to 12 years old, her music took more serious form and she began professional training. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was only 14 when she released her first collection of cover songs. And the rest is history. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and never been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic heritage. To preserve the tradition, she's studied Spanish and created songs in that language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," a song she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia was picked to perform for The X Factor's first season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X Factor following the submission of an YouTube performance video. She received the four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage audition in Seattle. Her initial audition was for "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were put together to audition the rest of her songs. They were eliminated from the program during the fifth week of live performances.
