Hayley Orrantia is she is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". She considers herself to be a musician first and foremost. Music, according to her, is the first thing she is passionate about. She began playing with it at age nine. As she grew to the age of 12 the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she began to train professionally. As a teenager She began to write herself songs. Her first cover album was released 14 years after. There hasn't been a turning to the past ever since. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic roots. She is a native of Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and her whole life was in the USA. She strives to keep it alive by studying Spanish and writing songs in the language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song that she's recorded is a good instance. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut episode of The X Factor. Her YouTube video was chosen and she received four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. Her initial audition was an individual performer. However, in the course of "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were placed in a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at the 5th week in the Live program.
